The company was established by Ing. Vladimir Kundrát in 1990 under the name Ing. Vladimir Kundrát VEKAS in order to operate in the region and to produce high quality parts according to customer specifications (drawings). Production started in small rented premises. In 2002, after reconstruction, the company moved to its own premises with a total area of 500 square meters. The name of the company was changed to Ing. Vladimir Kundrát VEKASTOOL.

In December 2003 the company successfully passed the audit of the certification company SGS Slovakia and received the certificate ISO 9001:2000.

In 2004, a new extension was built - a grinding hall, which significantly improved the working environment.

In 2007 the company changed the name and legal form to Vekastool Ltd.

The last recertification audit of ISO 9001:2015, which took place in November 2024, was successfully completed.

At the moment there is a continuous process of partial innovation of the building and machine equipment.
